Step 1: Removing the old battery

The first, remove 2 center screws along the hinge edge are longer than others

Remove the remaining 8 screws

Lift the bottom cover-up

Disconnect the battery gently but firmly pull on the plastic tab until the plug comes out of the socket

There are 5 screws the battery in that need to be removed

The center screw and the 2 innermost ones are longer. So remove those first.

Remove the 2 shorter ones near the front    

Lift the battery up and out of the Macbook

Step 2: Installing the new battery

Set the new battery into the Macbook Air

Replace the 5 Torques t-50 that hold. Start with one of the long screws in the center hold things in place then the 2 other long screws in the innermost corners. Then the shortest ones in the other corners.

Finally, connect the battery by lighting up the plug and simply sliding it into the socket.

Set the bottom cover back into place and push down in the center to engage

Step 3: Calibrating the power management system

After you installed the new Macbook Air 2015 battery, you need to calibrate it. Using the new battery to drain, then charge it to 100% before letting it drain until the MacBook shuts down. Now you can use it again as normal.
